Been taking a bit of a breather as of late on the output after Awwwards, but I'm back to work on makin weight(s) for JW.Stept. Pictured is the Black weight of JW.Stept, and I've been learning a ton about the process of making fonts and I see it being a huge thing going forward. It's a very time intensive process, but it's cathartic AF. It's not mindless, but it's not.. overly complex or analytical in nature. Create the rules of a visual system, and then apply/modify as needed... that's it really. Right now I'm thinking of expanding the JW.Stept family significantly, then doing a ton of clean up to JW.Sans as well as some added weights, and then hitting a mono and serif.
Somewhere in there some site clean up will in there.. but I need more of a break there. And I'm still thinking about live streams, but I'm on month 4 of demo of 3/4 of my apartment, so those are on hold until that gets sorted. I've been told next week... but we're months past many deadlines, so I'll believe it when I see...
